My name is hyunsoo kang. I am a brand and web designer. I believe that excitement can be found in any prompt and a project is never “finished” but is a stepping stone to something bigger. I enjoy collaborating with others to learn about their experiences with design, researching how design influences users' thinking and interactions, expanding initial concepts into something beyond their intended use, and conducting research throughout the design process.

I design with the audience in mind from start to finish. By listening to feedback, collaborating with others, asking questions, and observing how a design is used, I determine the best form for the project. I believe in designing with intention, where every decision is purposeful and backed by reason.

When I'm not researching or designing, you can find me taking long walks to local coffee and matcha shops, enjoying chocolate in all sweet forms, reading, or illustrating desserts just for fun!
